Our History

The Pakistan Cultural Society (PCS) was founded in 1993 with the aim of providing an intercultural forum that would promote South Asian traditional and contemporary arts and cultures. Over the years the experience of PCS has managed to bring together diverse audiences which have helped to break down the conventional boundaries and cultural barriers. PCS offers platform for cross-racial, cross-cultural and cross social creative dialogue in arts and education.

We have a history of over fifteen years of experience working with people of diverse cultural backgrounds. While most of our activities are focused to the North East of England, but we work nationally and internationally through partnerships and promotional opportunities.
