Education and Outreach

PCS provide range of creative workshops at schools and communities throughout the North East region. We closely work with our clients to understand their needs and tailor workshops for them as per their requirements. We work with a range of freelance professional artists who are highly experienced in delivering high quality creative workshops for targeted groups age 5-85 in schools and community venues. Most popular workshops are:


Indian Classical Dance – Bharata Natyam and Kathak are the most popular form of dance under this category are our specialty. Alongside traditional workshops our artists are capable to fuse tradition form with semi classical, bollywood or western styles depending on the demand and interests. Our workshops are full of fun and participants enjoy wearing colorful attires that matches with the dance form.


Bollywood Dance – Bollywood sessions are extremely popular among all age groups. This dance style is a combination of semi classical, folk and fusion with melodious music from Indian Film Industry and has western cultural influence in many instances.


Tabla Drumming – Tabla sessions with Shahbaz Hussain, a highly professional Tabla maestro has been incredibly popular among young and matured students. New sessions will resume in summer 2012.


Visual Arts and Craft sessions – We deliver a range of arts and crafts workshops in schools and communities. Sessions can be tailored to specific interest and audience based on their needs and expectations.

ARTS 4 ALL

Arts 4 All is our on going consultancy programme. Under this we provide bespoke project management services for schools, arts organisations & community groups who wish to deliver music or dance outreach programmes or residencies as part of curriculum/activities. Usual length of such projects is one week to three months or longer and has strong participatory learning element and positive outcome. Through our experienced team and pool of artists we support our clients to design, deliver and manage programmes as per requirements.

Arts Award

The Arts Award supports Young People to develop their talents and skills towards becoming an artists, arts practitioners or cultural enthusiasts, as well as providing national QCA qualifications at levels Bronze, Silver and Gold. At PCS we create opportunities for young talented people for their personal and professional development for better future. The Arts Award gives the chance to plan, evaluate and assess your progression in the field of arts and creative engagements.

Anyone aged between 11-25 years old take an opportunity and apply for the Arts Awards. We will assist you to achieve it.
